Our Somerset Battery Factory

Agratas is proud to announce our new multi-billion-pound electric vehicle battery manufacturing facilities, located in Somerset, UK, and Sanand, India. These state-of-the-art facilities are dedicated to designing, developing, and producing high-quality, high-performance, and sustainable battery cells to meet the growing global demand for clean energy solutions. Initially, our batteries will power the next generation of electric vehicles for JLR in the UK and Tata Motors in India.

Groundwork is already underway at both sites, with phased construction advancing steadily. Battery production is set to begin in 2026, marking a major step towards a cleaner, more sustainable future.
